As per the accounts provided by Ramdoot Prashant, the Secretary of JSRS Surat, Harsh Mishra came across distressing news about Gau Taksari (cow smuggling) involving some Muslims in a truck traveling through Chhattisgarh. Determined to protect the sacred Gau Mata, Harsh Mishra and his team began following the vehicle on the road.
The Chase and Tragic Outcome
During the pursuit, the truck driver and two other men attempted to evade capture by jumping off a bridge when their truck tire got flattened. They hoped to escape by leaping into the river below. Unfortunately, the river had a low water level, which led to the instant death of the driver and the two men.

The post-mortem examination clearly indicated that the driver and the other two men had no fight injuries on their bodies. Despite this, due to alleged political pressure, corruption, and a prevailing bias against Gau Rakshaks, the police proceeded to arrest Harsh Mishra, accusing him of mob lynching against Muslims.
